It would be pointless, but it would be an action packed exciting memorable pointless match.
I would rather see Mosley v. Cintron though, I think the match up would be better and the action would be of better quality.

If Mayorga somehow wins, then he's got a couple of big wins behind him and can challenge quite a few names. Imagine what a Mayorga-Cotto match would be like.

Remember, Cintron, Willians, De La Hoya, Margarito, Judah (for reasons that he may have created) are all tied up right now. It's the best fight for him, right now.
i disagree. since he is looking at jr. middles, mosley/spinks or mosley/sturm would be much more interesting

Why would Sturm move down from 160 when he's a champion there? Since Cintron is already signed to fight Margarito, I'd like to see Mosley vs Clottey or against anyone at 154 not named Vernon Forrest.

This would be an interesting fight but Mayorga is not in Mosleys league. Mosleys brilliant handpeed and combination punching alone would win him the fight. Mayorga has never did well with the A class fighters. Mosley by wide UD or late TKO. he has never had much power in the higher weights..

Mosley isnt what he used to be. Was never the same after he got off riods. He will be the favorite but Mayorga could beat him.

He isnt what he use to be but he is no where near shot and still a top 10 welterweight that could still become a champion and make some more money in the sport. Mayorga does not even have a punchers chance because Shane has fought fighters that hit harder and is more acurate than Mayorga. Besides, Mayorga futher over the hill than Shane is.

Good match-up I think. I think Sugar Shane would beat him by Decision though becuase of his hand speed and ability to box.

I don't want Mosley to fight Cintron. He just does not need that kind of punishment at this point in his career.
