He isnt what he use to be but he is no where near shot and still a top 10 welterweight that could still become a champion and make some more money in the sport. Mayorga does not even have a punchers chance because Shane has fought fighters that hit harder and is more acurate than Mayorga. Besides, Mayorga futher over the hill than Shane is.

But seriously Mayorga has a chance. Mosley is a bad style match up for Mayorga. I would rather see Mayorga fight Cintron, Margarito or Judah because he could beat all three of them.

He would have a chance againt Cintron because of his lack of heart but i honestly do not see him beating Judah or Margarito.

I dont really see him beating Cintron either but you never know. Zab would simply out box Mayorga and prevail by UD or late ko. Margarito is the worse style match up for Mayorga, a come foward fighter that is straight with his punches and could wear him down and stop him late. He could also take what Mayorga has to dish out.

Cintron could box Mayorga from a distance and land his power shots from the outside, but im not sure about what would happen if Mayorga brought pressure on Cintron, again he has a heart problem. Either way, stick by your fighter..lol its good that you are rooting for him, i just a different opinion.

Mayorga just fought at 166. Getting to a weight where he can fight any of these guys is highly questionable. This is a guy who couldn't make 154 years ago when he was supposed to fight Jose Rivera. He sure as hell isn't a welterweight anymore.

Actually it was 164,but that was due to Vargas. I already said that he could never fight at 147 again. Maybe 154 but a catchweight of 158 is more likey. But keep in mind this was Mosleys people making the comment so I guess thier ready for this. They know Mayorga isnt a welter anymore.

Cintron, Margarito or Judah would a breath of fresh air compared to Mayorgas usual death row competition. Margarito with his straight forword style would be in the line of fire to be KOed. Hes never been in with anyone like a Mayorga. Cintron would really be in trouble, he already broke down and cried once. **** Mayorga might have him in tears before the fight even happens.lol

I agree. I think this is a waste of Mosley's time and beside Mayorga wouldn't be fighting anyone at 147. I think Mosley could out box Mayorga, but Shane hasn't been his best at 154. Mayorga should fight Forrest.

I'm a huge Mayorga fan but he's not beating Shane, Shane is no where near shot, and still has tremendoes skill. Could you imagine is he did lose to Mayorga tho lol. I mean Mayorga's sloppy but the only man too really DESTROY him in the ring was Oscar.

Judah would simply out box him and stop him in the later rounds in my opinion. We all know that Mayorga can take a punch, but its the punches that you dont see is what would hurt you the most and even though Zab is past his best, he would move to his right and counter the weak left jab of Mayorga with a big left hand up top. It would be similar to the Mayorga/Spinks fight but Zab has more power than Spinks so he would do alot more damage. Mayorga can not handle those A class pure boxers like that. He would get out boxed badly.

Margarito has never been in with anyone like Mayorga? He has been in with better if you ask me. Margarito is just too much for Mayorga. Margarito has a cast iron chin and has been in with bigger and more acurate punchers than Mayorga. He would keep coming foward and landing those body shots and straight punches, which would eventually wear Mayorga down and out.

Cintron has every tool to beat Mayorga but the question is would his heart stay there for the whole fight? He could very well break down again if Mayorga keeps the heat on him but Mayorga is not that type of fighter. He is not the kind of fighter that comes in with game plans and sticks to it. He is an ordinary wild fighter and his style is kind of ameturish. He is wild and throws these wide looping puches, which would give Cintron his oppurtunities to shoot that power left hook in and picks his spots from a distance.
