Calzaghe is as good as we think; if Hop were to win it would mean he had something extra, and probably that some odd conditions worked in his favor. There's the possibility of Joe breaking a hand, getting a bad head butt, or most likely a bogus decision. Hop's main hopes lie in these three.
And it's a lose lose for Cal I think. Just for the above stated reasons. Hopkins didn't look that great against Winky and hasn't fought since.
Who does look good against Winky? Bernard won didn't he? And it was only 6 months ago.

Well Bernard could get three judges like Julie Lederman (who gave Kelly Pavlik one round in the Taylor fight.)
Actually there is a 7 year difference between the two. Both are past their prime, both seem to have aged well. All of Hopkins biggest wins, Trinidad, DLH, Tarver, Wright were after he turned 36.
No, according to people like you, it's a lose/lose situation for Calzaghe.
