If a 44 year old Hopkins beats Calzaghe?

What will your opinion be? Will it be embarrasing or not? For the record I'm picking and rooting for Calzaghe and I think he will dominate the fight, but this is just a question is it that Hopkins is that good if he wins or a question of how good Calzaghe really was? IMO Calzaghe is very good and should Hopkins win it will be the biggest win of his career. Same goes for Calzaghe.

For me, it's because Hopkins is just that good. But I got Calzaghe winning.

The only way Hopkins wins this fight is through Cheating and a Hometown decision.
Even then I see Calzaghe pot-shotting at will and winning in 99.9% of people's eyes.

There is a 8 year Gap between the two, Calzaghe is 35, Hopkins is 43, Calzaghe has had 44 fights, Hopkins has had 54, Hopkins started his career in 1988 while Calzaghe started in end of 1993.

I thought Hopkins was 44, but he is actually 43, couldn't be bothered to look up boxrec before.

The only way I’ll give Hopkins credit for a win is if he KO’s Calzaghe or if he wins in a dominating fashion. This fight could go 1 of 2 ways; it’s either an exciting boxing match i.e. Calzaghe-Kessler or a bore fest i.e. Winky-Nard….

I think if Bernard beats Joe, itll say a lot more for Bernard than it will dimish Joe... at that point we could all agree Bernard it truly a great fighter if he can pull that off... and to Joe theres nothing wrong with being beaten by a great fighter
