Anyway, on to the point of your question, Joe has been quoted as saying he wants to fight a top guy who is in their prime, by a process of elimination (top and prime) that leaves three suspects : Kelly or Jermain (at 168 or catch) or Bad Chad at 175 or all the way down to 168 (which the 6'3' Chad reckons he can still make!)

If you can think of anyone else let me know, but I tend to agree with you that Joe - Kelly would be a great fight
Well, all those fights would be pretty sick... I hope RJJ doesn't get the chance to intefere.

Abraham is a tough dude, he would give Pavlik a good fight. Pavlik would likely TKO him in the late rounds.

Sturm is a class boxer but Castillejo was able to walk him down, Pavlik would do the same. Pavlik would have some trouble with Sturm's boxing skills but Sturm doesn't have the power and durability Abraham has.

Despite my theory that he will fight Joe, Duddy would bring a huge crowd. As well as the Irish Americans, the mainland Irish are great supporters, they bring the sam sort of money as the English, but without the risk of trouble (saying that UK boxing fans have been much better than the soccer fans and limited their misbehaviour to booing the anthem - that may have something to do with your Police taking zero **** from them)

No one is fighting three headliners in a year anyway.

I think Pavlik has a right to take Duddy, but if you've seen a couple duddy fights you know that he isn't in the same hemisphere as Pavlik in terms of ability. It'll be fun to watch b/c he'll probably end up trading with Pavlik.

They might break Cotto's record. Pavlik's fan base travels well, Duddy's going to have a lot of fans, and you have all the PR fans.

I think Roy and Joe will save each other for a big bucks retirement fight, it will probably be Joe's last (win or loose) but I wonder if Roy will be able to resist another comeback if Joe beat him???? Maybe Nard?

Basically, the sanctioning bodies think he’s a worthy contender, so why don’t fans? It’s not like Duddy’s not ranked…

And btw, “The Ring” ranks Duddy 10th…
He's ok. But like Eastman, he's a fence guy. You fight him to know what side of the fence you're on. Kind of like Zab Judah... (No offense to Zab fans) in welterweight. He doesn't have much of a chance against the elite.

MSG better stock up on some serious booze. I'll say this... June 7th will be a ****ing blast.
