The KO loss Maskaev destroyed Rahman IMO, he has looked terrible ever since that loss...Vladimir Virchis is a dangerous opponent, he is a big strong dude with very heavy hands and an iron chin. I think Virchis would put Rahman and his career to sleep.
Vladimir Virchis by KO

Chances are, the winner will have to fight 2 or 3 more title eliminator fights until he gets a title shot.
Virchis is a dangerous fighter who isn't known anywhere except in Germany and Russia, if you beat him you won't get much respect (atleast from the Americans) and if you lose to him your career is done, especially when you're Rahman who is getting up there in age.
If Rahman would beat Virchis he would be back in the mix!!
Virchis is verry strong, but verry slow and a bad boxer. Rahman is also verry strong but has better skills. He has a weak chin though, and thats a big disadvantage if you fight a guy like Virchis. A prime Rahman would easily beat Virchis, but todays Rahman seems to be pretty much done, but who knows maybe he still can do better as in his last fights. If not, Virchis is the clear favourite.Last edited by Tobi.G; 01-26-2008, 07:45 AM.
