No, Duffgun. But every time I go into a heavyweight thread at work, your sig makes people think I'm looking at soft **** on the net. The boss doesn't mind me checking the boxing websites or news, but looking at **** at work is not acceptable.

Whatever dude. If you don't want to believe the WBC presidents own words then I'm quite sure no evidence is going to convince you that the fights were title eliminators.

Fact is, the WBC is a mess and there are too many people who have been promised title shots.
The winner of Virchis vs Rahman/Gomez will have to wait for their title shot if Vitali decides to fight the winner of Peter/Maskaev and probably fight just another title eliminator against a WBC top ranked opponent.

The WBC should hold an elimination tourney like IBF is doing. Have a 2 or 3 round tournament with the winner facing the incumbent WBC title holder, otherwise fighters will be waiting around indefinitely for a title shot or taking their cases to court…

I'm not going to lie and say I've seen Virchis, but he sounds like he is no push over. My last take on Rahman fight was not good to the human eye. Rahman flat out looked horrible in his fight with Zuri Lawrance.(they looked like two undispline fighters) I just hope Rahman realize he is coming to the end of his career and call it quits. He's had a decent career and IMO he doesnt need to keep fighting. He seems like he doesnt have the hunger he once had.

With that said I hope these guys just have a good fight. I dont have a clear favorite in this fight because I dont know how the other guy is(Virchis) and I dont think Rahman has that killer instinct anymore. Its a toss-up fight and I just hope the best man will win.

I don't think Rahman can beat him.
hish risk,, yes,,,,low reward,, no. virchis is ranked in the top 5 and a win by rahman would sadly land him a title shot although his chances of pulling the upset are about as great as "potatoes" posting an unbiased remark about a klitschko
