I Like Roy. But i think he has brain damage?

I like RJJ. He is class. In his prime. One of, if not best of modern era.

But im worried about his head. I think he may have brain damage. After the fight with Tito. I couldn't understand what he was saying. I don't think anyone did. Im worried he has brain damage.

Going to fight De La Hoya at 156? Does this confirm my thoughts?

Since he told commentators he struggled to beat LHW's, because its to light for him after his match with Ruiz at HW?

    Im seriously concerned for Roy.

He's always been a little difficult to understand because of his southern accent, imo. He still speaks 100 words per second, so it certainly doesn't sound slowed down or slurred in anyway.

But then again I'm no expert on the subject.

To be honest, I have always had a problem figuring out what words Roy is trying to use when he talks. He isn't articulate in the literal sense of the word. He is pretty intelligent, but his tongue muscles seem to defy him when he tries to use them to make coherent words come out of his mouth.

I think the talk of him fighting DLH at 156 confirms that he is full of ****, not punch drunk. It did keep his name in the news for another day, which shows more smarts than brain damage.

Him saying he is going to get down to 156 to fight Oscar makes me think he is actually kind of ******ed though.

That's what happens after 20 odd years of fighting and hard sparring! Roy has been seriously hurt twice and should have retired after Johnson KO which was brutal. He didn't need to prove anything more. However, the guy came in at a very fit 169pds which is very good for a 39 year old and fought well even though Tito was rusty after lay-off. Fighters seem to be athletes whom in the twilight of their careers find it hardest to retire and always want that last big fight and go out on a high which sometimes doesn't always turn out the way they want.

That's not him being punch drunk. That is the way he talks (and always has). He has always sounded like he is permanently hooked up to a feeding tube, but he is intelligent.

He might have a very mild case of autism. He knows what he wants to say, but he can't effectively get it out.
