I don't think what happened to to the guys you mentioned was buddy's fault. Arturo Gatti was a blown up brawler, he had no business boxin and moving, but Buddy might've saved him from taking some shots. Look at how Gatti was boxing Baldomir in some of the rounds, that was all buddy..wasn't Buddy's fault Gatti's shot!

Antonio Tarver could never beat Bernard, Lamon Brewster could never beat Klitchsko.

Vernon Forrest did to Baldomir what Gatti would have done if he weren't so small and slow.

Buddy Mcgirt is also doing a lot of good work with Paul Malignaggi. Before Buddy, Malignaggi was very 1 dimensional compared to what he is now.

Freddie Roach is a good trainer too, but really only teaches one style, attack with defense.

My favorite trainers: Floyd Mayweather Sr., Buddy McGirt

Least:Roger Mayweather (doesn't teach ****..just says either tie 'em up, keep whoopin his ass), Yoel Judah

oh I wonder why you chose emmanuel.....its cause he trains the guy you want on top of you. But besides the obvious bias in ALL ur post I agree emmanuel is one of the best, he helped transform tommy hearns into an unstoppable bakery.

I prefer yancy durham, eddie futch, and jack blackburn as the best trainers, them and angelo dundee were all great, its too hard to choose.

whoever said mcgirt was a good trainer, YOUR WRONG. A good trainer can prove it! only a few out of tens of his fighters are good and the rest either get knocked out with him in the corner or just lack in performance and we cant even lie and say hes a GOOD TRAINER!

Only from what ive seen and heard during fights id say Joe Goosen is one of the best while i dont rate Freddie Roach. Futch was prob one of the best, he was always so cool between rounds, that probably calmed his fighters down

My favorite is Nacho Beristain. All of his fighters are technically sound and good offensive fighters. Just look at the Marquez Bros. and Abner Mares I think is really going to take off with Nacho as his trainer.

Billy Grahm is probably the coolest looking trainer, Freddie Roach is also badass. Mick was good too

atlas was rarely any good other than that one night with moorer against holyfield.

moorer fought with more passion with guys like manny and roach in the corner than he did with teddy yelling at him.
