The official fav and worst trainer thread

The worst trainer is Teddy Atlas. He has not produced any champion fighters. He doesn't offer any instruction to his fighters when they are losing, he just screams and humiliates them. The way Atlas treated Michael Grant was horrible. Getting tough with your fighter is one thing but acting like an ******* is another.

The best trainer is probably Emmanuel Stewart and second goes to Roach or Mayweather Sr.

Good points about Atlas. He is a total control freak that feels the need to re-invent every fighter he is with. He can never stick with a fighter very long before they get sick of him. If you don't consider Moorer, he hasn't done **** as a trainer.

Mollos trainer was screaming at him in the fight. So i guess i hate him, not hate, thats a strong word but dislike for now.

Favorite - Freddy Roach(not being bias), just because I like his approach with his fighter. Rather than trying to change them, he takes what makes them great, leaves it in them and rather tries to fix their holes and increase their arsenal. Bottomline, leaving the fighter with what makes him great.
Least favorite - Buddy McGirt, his fighters always lose, his advice isn't always great, and I think he's just overrated.

Favorite: Buddy Mcgirt, Jack Loew, Roger Mayweather(All characters, i enjoy hearing them talk in the corners a lot. And Roger may be the funniest trainer of all time )

Hated: Goosen and Mayweather Sr.

Lou duva is an idiot. Why the hell was he yelling at Medrick Taylor to go fight in the 12th against JCC. He ****ed up big time.

Freddie Roach gets on my nerves too. "Go head and charge foward, okay? You got that son? Okay?" He might say okay in a fight more then Cory Spinks and Jermain Taylor landed punches against each other.

Aaron Snowell sucks ,he did **** with Tyson and talked **** to Rafael Marquez and got his fighter Tim Austin knocked through the ropes and evntually KO'd.

Favorite trainer: Joe Goossen-always gets the best out of his fighters

Least favorite: Oscar Suarez-sent the careers of Hamed and Freitas in reverse.

I agree, Joe Goosen is hands down the best trainer in boxing.

Buddy McGirt looks good in the corner, but I have a feeling that he pretty much abandons his fighters in the gym. He also doesn't inspire confidence at all.

i agree with the posters that said teddy atlas sucks, because if michael grant or dominck guinn was weak mentally then screaming at them and calling them a piece of **** isn;t going to work. u can't have the same way of motivating fighters, some people train harder if u call them a piece of ****, some of them just start thinking they can't win

My favourite trainer is Emmanuel Steward...he has helped transform Wlad into an unstoppable killing machine.

Buddy McGirt is the worst trainer IMO, his record is horrible.
