Teddy also seems to use a lot of football analogies. Stuff like how the running game is like a jab that sets up the big pass which is a big right or left hand.

I love when Merchant goes " I love you Derrick Jefferson", but I also laugh when Lampley goes Ooooooh! No Count Necessary! That makes me crack up everytime.Comment

The guy who comes up with the most ****ed up nalogies would have to be Max Kellerman, I remember when the HBO Triple Header happened this past June he started talking about the movies 'Live Free or Die Hard' and 'The Bourne Ultimatum' as an analogy for action everywhere quite honestly it kinda looked like he wasnt even understading what he was sayingComment

On the Fischer/Kasparov comments by Kellerman, I liked when Lampley said to him that was Merchantesque. When you think about it, it was. I understood it, but like Merchant it seemed to go on for a little too long.Comment

I thought I once heard someone say that Merchant made the following comment during a heavyweight PPV: "...like choosing between 2 tires in a junkyard (reference to both fighters)". Can anyone confirm? What's funny is that people would hear that comment right after dropping $40-50 on the event.Comment

I was listening to that wondering why I was hearing it from Kellerman and not Merchant when all of the sudden Lampley said it was Merchantesque. I laughed my ass off.Comment
