I agree about the silly reason thing. The one line thing, you have to remember is that Witter never said Hatton was ****, he said he'd beat him. Hatton went on to dismiss Mayweathers WHOLE CAREER>

Nonetheless, I get that point. It's still.. slightly hypocritical.

Also a valid point. Mayweather never even intended on fighting Hatton (atleast not publicly) before that comment. Hatton on the other hand was DYING for the fight, or so we're told by his handlers. So much so that he left his promoter to get the bigger fights, perhaps that one, made.

Now, he's not so interested. That's just.... strange to me.

He did it to PBF and Now witter is doing it to him although witter has done it way more than ricky did to PBF, Boxers call each other out that is very much a part of hype in boxing, I don't know what his reasons are for not fighting him but he should step an fight Witter.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure most want to see the fight happen. It's attractive in a lot of ways.

Ricky Hatton is a man who is running out of reasons for not fighting Witter.

Because its the way boxing is played. Also I think the Witter fight will happen and Hatton is just teasing/tormenting him because he has the power to grant Witters wish..

That has nothing to do with being hypocritical or not, though.

I wonder what the clamour for this fight will be when Witter goes to America and stinks the joint up again.

This fight will happen because it has to. If it didn't have to it would never happen. Because Witter is a boring fighter with no fans who poses a significant risk for no reward. At least now he has a belt. Make no mistake Witter is one of the worlds most boring fighters. No one has ever been interested in this fight until now, because he willactually bring something to the table. He is a good fighter, but in that uber awkard tough to watch ingle style, I think he is a shocker personally.

This, coming from a guy who proudly admitted to attempting to goad Mayweather out of "retirement" by mocking his ENTIRE career with ONE LINE.

True, Hatton hadn't done this his WHOLE career, and Mayweather would have porbably taken the fight anyway. Nonetheless, Hatton did admit to attempting to lure Floyd in by cheap-shotting him, and then got his biggest payday.

Hatton fans; Don't use the "it was a smart move" **** because anytime Mayweather has done a "smart business move" you've "slagged" him for it.

So, I ask the question... Is Ricky Hatton a hypocrite?
The guy is a flat out hypocrite and a joke. The real reason he wants no part of Witter is that he would lose the fight. He's an overrated bum, like most other British fighters.
