Fighting Hatton is definately more impressive than fighting Margarito.

Hatton is a champion (still) and hasn't lost in the last year (or at all).

It is not as good as fighting Cotto or Williams.

It does not strike me as a great career move to retire without fighting either Cotto (the other great champion) or Williams (the undefeated up-and-comer).
