you know what grinds me? it's that mos of you guys were the same people talking about how the Trinidad fight didn't make no sense and everybody ****ted on it talking about how they wouldn't order it and all this and that but once it's over it's Jones this and Jones that.. I can't it's the exact people in THIS particular thread because I didn't look to see who posted nor who the thread starter was I just read the title and opened it and just replied but it pisses me off, even if the people in HERE didn't say that **** theres many other guys on here running off at the mouth about Jones who felt that this would be a meaningless win that he was just capitalizing on, hipocrite mother****ers for real yo and since I can't pinpoint it it makes it hard for me to accept the validity of most people on here..

truth be told Roy Jones BEEN ready for Joe it's just **** heads like Bernard Hopkins know how to use their heads more than anything, not the brain but the actual cranium as he did against Winky and Trinidad right before he pushed him to the canvas, truth be told Bernard Hopkins ain't ****, he cheated Winky by plain and simply cheating, he doesn't have it in him to fight a clean fight even back then just ask Kieth Holmes. that ******* ain't ****, he didn't break history because Carlos Monzon defended the UNDISPUTED MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP of the world, Bernard didn't start defending that until after Trinidad which if you add until he lost it he did't break no record, **** Bernard and his cheating ass.. I don't respect fighters who rely on dirty tactics to save them from a formidable foe..

I'm drunk and all but still I know what what whether drunk or not, I'm being very vulgar and impolite so I felt the need to say I am but that don't affect the truth behind what I'm saying.. in all reality Roy Jones Jr will always be a better win, fight and just overall opponent than Bernard Hopkins, he has a great story but a horrible current standing, if it wasn't for his ability to cheat he wouldn't be **** right now, Roy should be the one fighting Joe in April but he BEEN supposed to be fighting him, Joe should have used his hard head and not go for the **** and pick the real guy to cement his legacy, roy is an overall better opponent and Joe should have known better but once Joe deals with this ******* we can have Jones VS Calzaghe and finally put this bull**** to rest, maybe next we can have a Jones VS Dawson-Johnson winner so that it makes for a blowout Light Heavyweight unification bout..

The plain TRUTH is Jones is finished and has nothing left.
A fight with Calzaghe means nothing at this moment in time.
It should have happened 5 years ago just like the Hopkins fight.
People say Roy performed well against Tito....I beg to differ.
Fortunately for Roy he was in with a guy who didn't have enough Speed or Power to really get to Roy.
Roy was like a Magician at a kids Party on Saturday night performing an Illusion that he has retrieved some speed and skill.
Truth is he struggled the first 4 rounds and then couldn't finish the guy when he had the opportunity.
The guy in question is past his sell by date anyway and hasn't won a meaningful fight himself in years and was at a big weight disadvantage.
I understand for a lot of Roy fans that they can't let go that their Hero is at the end of his career.
I'm sure this is why they are clutching at straws.
If Roy had been in with a true Strong LHW on Saturday night it would have been a different story.
If Roy really wants the fight with Calzaghe he needs to prove he is worthy by beating someone in the division who has a fair chance and credibility.
His name alone just isn't enough.
And understand this Roy fans I am NOT a HATER I am just a realist.
Tyson had the same effect on a lot of fans when they used to dream he could recapture his old form when the Truth stared any sane person in the face that he was done.
People got excited when he was knocking bums over like Etiienne.
If Roy gets a fight with Calazghe it may well end in tears for Roy and his fans.
