RJJ VS Calzaghe needs to happen..

I think the biggest reason Roy wants this fight is because of all the people who doubt him.. All the people who dont think he has a hope in hell... all the people who think he cant make a comeback after coming off 2 brutal KO's..

Everyone have a typical view fo an outcome of what a fight can be.. But in the end.. anything is possible. RJJ is a living legend who is still fighting..

Overcoming 2 brutal KO's and making a comeback shows alot, especially at his age..

Having the opportunity to fight calzaghe needs to happen.. This is a chance to shut all the doubters up.. The chance to prove anything is possible..

This is a fight that we know is no walk in the park for either fighter..

A win here would put Roy near if not the top of the p4p rankings..

    This would be truly historic..

and the fact is, its not a mismatch.. Joe is definetly the favorite though.

    I hope this fight happens...

Okay Roy fans, let's not get out of hand here. Yeah Jones looked good last night but let's not forget his opponet had only fought twice in 5 years, was inactive for nearly 2 and a half, lost 2 of his last 4, and was a natural Welterweight fighting 23lbs above his natural weight.

As for Calzaghe, Bernard Hopkins has him all tied up at the moment. Because at this stage of their careers a win over Hopkins means more than a win over Jones.

I think a Jones/Calzaghe match would be great to see, especially if it took place in Wales where it could really sell. But let's just wait and see what my boy Hopkins does against Calzaghe first, who knows we could all be calling for a rematch 15 years in the making after that fight.

(Which is what I've always wanted to see.)

I'd like to see Jones go against Erdei. That's be a good lead up to Calzaghe. But Erdei doesn't exactly have the name that Jones is looking for in terms of money making, so I'm not sure who he should go for.

Erdei would give him a title though and would make the Roy/Joe fight that much bigger if it came off. If Joe gets by Hopkins, he would have the ring belt and that's it. Erdei's belt would make it a world title fight.

That's true as well but for some reason I see Roy wanting a higher profile opponet, and Erdei isn't exactly a household name at the moment. But I could be wrong.

Id like to see the fight, I just dont get why some poeple say Roy has no chance to win. Even if he did have no chance it would still be an entertaining fight.

roy jones jr has nothing to offer joe calzaghe

lets be honest hes been knocked out by two guys who are not even top-20
                    p4p

jones was knocked out and ***** footed his way to a loss to tarver who was embarassed by hopkins.

people ctiticize klitschko for not going back and fighting corrie sanders.. i say roy jones fights glen johnson to prove he can actually beat a guy his size who is world class before he gets a calzaghe fight and payday he certainly has not earned.

jones is an idiot to boot, gay ass showboating, shuffling of his feet, the dumbass will probably demand a 50/50 split from calzaghe lol

if jones wants calzaghe he better get on a plane and fly to england
