Well I wouldn't advise him fighting Dawson at this point. And Collazo, Maussa and Urango weren't exactly household names, but they sure ended up helping pack Hatton's pockets in the Floyd fight.

(Which is what I've always wanted to see.)

Here's my take, Joe ahs said he would retire after two more fights, three at the most. Its is looking 99% that fight 1 would be Bernard, if he wins I think fight 2 will be the winner of Pavlik / Taylor OR Chad if he wins. But if Roy beats another name and beats them well, I think the $ signs would be too much for either fighter to ignore -cue a 24/7 series 'The last Battle for two ATGs' and you and me both get our wish for the fight (but both still cuss that it didn't happen in 2002! lol)

              Am I nuts?

Am I the only one who thinks that Jones is shot, and Calzaghe is still close to his prime?

I always picked Jones over Calzaghe in hypothetical prime4prime matchup, but now Jones would get slaughtered. He would take serious amounts of punishment, which I think is unnecessary for a 39 year old fighter who gave us so much in his prime.

EDIT: He could have been in with better competition at often times, so he could have given us more in his prime. But I still think he does not deserve this, not even after yesterday's clowning.

                  p4p

jones was knocked out and ***** footed his way to a loss to tarver who was embarassed by hopkins.

people ctiticize klitschko for not going back and fighting corrie sanders.. i say roy jones fights glen johnson to prove he can actually beat a guy his size who is world class before he gets a calzaghe fight and payday he certainly has not earned.

jones is an idiot to boot, gay ass showboating, shuffling of his feet, the dumbass will probably demand a 50/50 split from calzaghe lol

if jones wants calzaghe he better get on a plane and fly to england
Jones made an offer to take 40% of purse, and 60% goes to Joe, and he would fight in Wales.. Frank Warren denied..
