Trinidad too much gaugze on hands

Thank you.
Does anybody here have a clear understanding of the boxing commision's rules on hand wrapping? I seem to recall hearing a while back that a fighter is allowed to use a specified number of inches of gauze and tape (not sure what the length is). It was my understanding that it was the trainers discretion about how the gauze and tape was distributed (i.e. he could put more across the knuckles to protect the hand or more wraps around the wrist to keep them from twisting). Another thing I recall is that the gauze had to be wrapped all at once, and then the tape. This would outlaw the practice of putting gauze, tape, gauze, tape, which apparently makes the fist harder. I seem to recall that this was the issue with Tito prior to the Bernard fight. Is this bull? Does anyone know?Comment
