Couple that with some of Trinidad's opponets commenting on how impactful his punches felt after a fight, and that's all the evidence I need.

But opinions are like *******s, as the old saying goes.

I don't believe so... which means, that all the wrapping is not for protection...

This whole story is pretty ****ing fishy.
Exactly. How can someone be such a highly regarded power puncher, who hits with such devestating force like Trinidad, without ever even having had a single problem with their hands? Hell even Paulie Malignaggi and Floyd Mayweather Jr have had hand problems.

        understood.

Lol... what kind of reasoning is that? Maybe he didn't have hand problems BECAUSE of the wraps?

As I said, I love Hops to death but I can admit his shortcomings and underhanded tactics. I can't stop supporting him because of them though, maybe that's the same thing that Trinidad fans feel? But I doubt it.

Unfortunately not, so the moment Roy steps into the ring this issue will become a non-issue.

"Trinidad will do ANYTHING to win a fight!"

Lampley on Tito during their Vargas fight. I've always agreed with that statement.

                      That could be...

It does seem odd to me that he uses so much compared to EVERYONE else in the sport.
