This was the guy's 22nd pro fight. Yes, he looked ****. By his own standards it was actually slightly better than he usually looks.
But why am I reading threads from people who have only seen him for the first time talking about how technically crap he is as if it's a major revelation here?
You're boxing fans, posting on the internet. If you had an interest in watching a fight between two boxers, why didn't you download at least three of both boxer's fights?
Fair enough, you might not be that interested to do that, but if you have so little interest, then why post your opinion/make threads on it as if you have something to offer?
I never post about ANY boxer unless I've seen at least three of their fights. That's my own personal rule. Imagine how much better NSB would be if people only posted on boxers they'd seen at least, say, twice, or only spoke about things they'd researched, rather than just making up perjorative opinions based on a boxer's looks/boxrec record/nationality. Wouldn't that be BETTER?
Fair enough, you might think you're allowed to express an opinion. But I just wonder why a forum dedicated to appreciating professional boxing is full of so-called "opinion" from people who by definition don't know what they're talking about? I mean, what worth is your view, and why are you flooding the forum with it, if this is the only time you've seen Chagaev fight? Keep your opinions to yourself, or post them in threads at the most. Don't start your own threads like attention seeking schoolboys pretending they know something when they haven't done their homework.
Jesus.
