The point is that these guys need to fight. The demand is for that fight. Its not for Mayweather/Williams or Cotto/Williams. Its not for Cotto/Margarito or Mayweather/Gay La Hoya. The fans want to see the #1 fight the #2. It is a beautiful clash of styles and a fight between two fighters at their peak. All of this, "Mayweather doesn't need Cotto" **** and, "Cotto is being ducked by Floyd" **** doesn't matter.

The Welterweight division is the best in boxing and the fans want this fight...simple as that.
