Lets clear things up about PBF and Cotto

It's really sad to see everyone saying how Floyd who fought a month ago, is ducking cotto.

I am by no means a big mayweather fan.. I used to hate the guys guts, but i've learned if you can't beat them, join them.

Floyd is NOT ducking cotto.. I repeat.. NOT.. Hes waiting till he gets a bit bigger in the public eye, not just boxing fans..

Someone had posted that they had seen floyd in NY at a ***elry store and had asked him about cotto.. Floyd said he would fight him by the end of the year or early next year..

As usual, PBF is being the businessman and waiting a bit for cotto to become bigger to collect as much cash as he can..

Floyd knows that this is the biggest money fight out there.. He isnt going to let a golden opportunity pass by..

So please everyone, give it a rest.. This is what is going to happen.. watch and see how things unfold

I believe everyone already knows Floyd is a good to great fighter and a businessman at the same time, I think people are just tired of him saying he is the best and the media saying he is P4P king when in reality he hasn't beat a good WW but is ranked #1, it makes people mad that he got to his status of picking and choosing and only fighting big money fights when he hasn't done much to get there.

I dont see a reason to dock Cotto but i think PBF needs to wait before he takes the fight because the fight isnt big enough IMO, When this fight happens it would be the biggest and most anticipated fight in 2008/2009...But it would also be the most one-sided matchups between the so-called elite, PBF would have an easy time with Cotto more than he did Hatton.

This is what I don't understand. You know a large amount of users he truly believe Floyd would outclass Cotto, what the hell makes you think Floyd doesn't believe that as well? Queens is correct, Floyd is making 20 million fighting Oscar again and when he faces Cotto he wants to make a sum almost as big as that.

By fighting oscar right now with cotto sitting at the number 1 position for his lineal championship in legit contention, yes, at this moment, taking this worthless and pointless 2nd fight with de la hoya, he is ducking cotto by all means, there is no reason for this fight other than money, and thats not a good enough excuse for this particular fight because we saw it already and didint like it the first time, if he dont fight cotto next, its going to hurt him a bit because the guy is in his prime waiting to be exploited by floyd and his superior technique.

Take a look at what Oscar had to endure counting or after the Jesse James Leija fight, before he got to Floyd's status, b/c in my opinion Oscar wasn't the big money man until the Trinidad fight, I mean he was known but not the Money Man until then:

                  1)1996--Julio Ceasar Chavez
                  2)1997--Pernell Whitaker
                  3)1997--Hector Camacho
                  4)1999--Julio Ceasar Chavez
                  5)1999--Ike Quartey

This is were I say he became the money man, there were other fights in between those from 1996--1999 but those are the big names.

                  6)1999--Felix Trinidad
                  7)2000--Shane Mosley
                  8)2001--Arturo Gatti
                  9)2002--Fernando Vargas
                  10)2003--Shane Mosley
                  11)2004--Felix Sturm
                  12)2004--Bernard Hopkins
                  13)2006--Ricardo Mayorga
                  14)2007--Floyd Mayweather Jr.

At least we know one fighter whose legacy is sealed, he has fought the best from different generations, although I think he is bad for boxing right now due to age and interferring with real WW fights, he wasn't scared to fight anyone and he made HIMSELF the money man he didn't have to fight someone to become him, he made HIMSELF, he also made Floyd--"Money Mayweather"!!!!
