I think I may have come up with an explanation for Roy's Positive Steroid Test...

Roy Jones was never linked the balco, ever, i dont know how much you know, but Balco and everyone linked to it was busted, Marion Jones, Barry Bonds, The Giambi brothers, i mean everyone whos anyone was linked to it, what that article says is that commisions are testing for **** balco provided, the balco lab was about 6 miles from where i live, every single name/story linked to it was all over the news, NEVER ONCE was roys name mentioned, your pulling **** right out of your ass.
The grand jury never indicted roy, never mentioned roy, nothing, so you saying the feds just happen NOT to catch roy, but your claiming he was linked to the company? stop lying.Comment

The link is that once they had tests to prove people using the **** that Balco were producing was going to be available that RJJ suddenly dropped in form over night.Roy Jones was never linked the balco, ever, i dont know how much you know, but Balco and everyone linked to it was busted, Marion Jones, Barry Bonds, The Giambi brothers, i mean everyone whos anyone was linked to it, what that article says is that commisions are testing for **** balco provided, the balco lab was about 6 miles from where i live, every single name/story linked to it was all over the news, NEVER ONCE was roys name mentioned, your pulling **** right out of your ass.

And another thing.....they DID NOT NAME every athlete associated either.
Perhaps Roy was never ordering from Balco.
He could still be using similar drugs.
Anyway this isn't about Balco so lets leave that there.
Roy tested Positive for Steroids that is a a fact.
When tests were available to show athletes using Balco drugs Roy's game suddenly dropped off.
Bottom line is he tested positive.
And he changed his excuses.
One day it was a Nasal Inhaler.....the next it was ripped fuel.
Easy mistake to make isn't it?Comment

There were 2 types of ripped fuel.
And ULTIMATELY it is a FIGHTERS RESPONSIBILITY to KNOW WHAT HE IS USING AND PUTTING IN HIS SYSTEM.
In fact Fighters can call up and find out what products are useable and non-useable ANONYMOUSLY if need be.
DR. GOODMAN: It is true to some degree that there are some kinds of substances than can be in some over the counter preparations that will break down and show up as a steroid but that's pretty far and few between and there are tests that an accepted laboratory can do to distinguish between what is actually true anabolic steroids versus something that was put in an over the counter supplement. It is important for boxers to take control of their own lives and look at what someone is giving them to take, just like Fernando (Vargas) realized.
The main thing that I would say to fighters is... there has been a lot of talk about fighters have a boxers' union, I think that is a wonderful idea, but part of the reason why fighters like Eddie M. Muhammad are for something like that is because boxers have their own rights and boxers need to understand their own bodies and what goes into their bodies, because that is part of what will make them have a successful career. The most important thing that they can do as part of their training, including their nutrition and their physical health is to know what they are taking. Any fighter can call our Commission anonymously and ask if "this" is something safe for me to fight on; we have an open door policy like that, and I believe that's important for every Commission to do, to counsel fighters on what it's safe for them to fight on, be it an over the counter medicine, or something for their sinuses, or something someone is trying to give them as a supplement.Comment

Balco is a serious accusation because their steroids are untracable and are seriously enhancing to whomever uses them, its more than just using too much ripped fuel or anything of that nature, thats why im bringing it up, roy was never linked to ANY OF THAT, Shane Mosley was, yes, but never Roy, thats why im making it a big deal, because your lying for the sake of it.The link is that once they had tests to prove people using the **** that Balco were producing was going to be available that RJJ suddenly dropped in form over night.

Maybe this is what he was taking, it contains andro...
http://www.nutros.com/nsr-07030.html
ESPN.com said that Roy tested positive for Andro.
The steroid cloud is spreading over a growing number of sports, and boxing is no exception, Kieran Mulvaney writes.
But I'm no drug expert at all. I just looked around online to see if Ripped Fuel ever contained any form of Andro.
If he took this it probly show up with ephedrine in his system as well because i belive Guarana & Ma Huang are herbel version of ephedrine stack.
After that, I got together with someone who knows what you can take and can't take, that's why it never happened again. I was like .05, Hall was like way up there from something that might not have been over the counter. Ripped Fuel and 4-WAY (nasal decongestant) that's why that whole thing happened, and matter fact I took two other tests, they came back cool."-www.boxing talk.net
I belive alot of decongestants contain ephedrine, like ChestEze,4-WAY etc. Sounds a bit suss that he admitted taking only ripped fuel and a decongestant only. When the Ripped Fuel contains ephedrine? dunno?Comment

I have an explaintion too.... He took steroids.. because they are also refered to as "performance enhancing drugs" and This is why Atheletes Knowingly take them.. Jones is no exception.. Why is it so difficult to accept that people cheat...??? Cheating has been around since the caveman days..Maybe this is what he was taking, it contains andro...
