You can't discuss Roy Jones with moofo his incompetent bias against Roy clouds his judgement no matter what the subject pertaining to Roy is.
I think I may have come up with an explanation for Roy's Positive Steroid Test...

Why is it bias?
The man tested positive for Steroids.
Unlike you I don't think he is telling the truth when he first uses an nasal inhaler for the reason why and then decides to change his reason to ripped fuel afterwards.
Couple this with him turning human overnight the alarm bells ring.
You don't agree but that is your opinion.
I respect that but you obviously don't respect mine.
That makes you bias against me.
Bottom line is HE TESTED POSITIVE FOR STEROIDS.
Or am I lying?Comment

I think I have a legitimate argument. Many reported Roy tested positive for the steroid Andro. ESPN also reported thats what Richard Hall tested positive for aswell. Roy said it was from Ripped Fuel. Everyone said Ripped Fuel doesn't have anything that would make you fail for an anabolic steroid. Thats true if your talking about the plain Ripped Fuel. But it turns out there was also a Ripped Fuel back then that did in fact contain Andro. Its discontinued now as Andro is now not allowed to be sold OTC.Comment

Roy was also linked to Balco.
Most people like yourself right now try to say Roy is innocent because they find it hard to accept that the P4P # 1 for so long was actually a cheat.
What I find strange is how many Stars like Marion Jones were found out yet no-one stood up for them.
Right after Jones Positive test came to light was his first fight with Tarver as well.
And the first time he looked "Human".
He also changed his original excuse of Nasal Congestant to Ripped fuel afterwards.
Believe what you will.

Draw your own conclusions.

Roy was never linked to what happened out here in balco, stop lying.Comment

Moofo, you have to remember a couple of things....
A.) Of course he looked insanley good against John Ruiz, Roy is million times more talented than Ruiz.
B.) He waited till the last minute to take off 25 pounds of muscle that Mackie Shilstone helped him build. He waited because he thought he might get a shot at Tyson or another big fight.
C.) Tarver is a big step up from Ruiz from a skill perspective. Plus, Tarver was starving to be a star.
D.) Roy was getting old, he was 34 and about to be 35. Remember what Ali and Leonard were like at 34 and 35. They wern't the same. In the rematch Tarver caught Roy with a perfect left hand. And then after that his confidence was shot in the ring. I know, Tarver was the same age. True but Roy had twice as many fights and wasn't as hungry as Tarver.Comment

Not too long ago Jones put on a lot of weight to fight John Ruiz and he looked awesome at that weight, he beat the hell out of Ruiz actually. He then had to take off the weight to fight Antonio Tarver and didn’t look good, this was when the story broke, and the substance testing changed. Now that some Boxing Commissions are testing for what BALCO was providing these fighters and other substances, Roy Jones Jr. hasn’t looked the same and it hurts me to say that but it’s true.Comment

Of course Roy is going to look super human against Ruiz. What boxing skills does Ruiz have? He was bigger but thats it. Roy lost 18-25 pounds of muscle last minute to fight Tarver at the age of 34. Thats why he looked human. Add on to the fact Tarver ain't no Ruiz, meaning Tarver has skillsComment

You have your opinion I have mine.
Mine will not change.
Plus I've had this argument too many times to care anymore.
Especially when a Biased poster accuses me of being Biased.
I've never slagged Roy's talent as a fighter either.
My only gripe is he wasted it on so many under talented fighters.Comment

A simpler explanation of why Roy tested positive for an illegal substance / over the sports allowed limit....he used more than the allowed limit for his sport. Pretty cut n dry there
It is commendable that Roy and his legions come up with reasons / excuses for hs cheating; wether wittingly or not he broke the rules. This same kind of excuse laden behavior showed up after he Kayo'd ice Griffin when Griffin was down. Fact is Roy got caught but did himself good by being reasonably honest and not going over the threshold again. I have a hard time buying the whole "I was not aware of..." mentality.Comment
