I hope Gomez doesn't take the coward way like Mora did against Taylor. This would cause him to lose respect among his people. I would like to see Gomez go toe to toe with Cotto like a true Mexican warrior. Clottey is a good fighter, but he doesn't bring the excitement like Gomez will.

I would like to see Clottey fight Cotto instead of Gomez as he opposes a bigger threat IMO. Gomez should just agree to a decent deal and make the fight, he doesn't need to do what Mora did, which made a lot of people lose respect for him, if they had any to begin with.

The only way that Clottey will fight Cotto is if he can't get Cintron in the ring. Clottey just won an elimination fight for that spot and he probably thinks he is an easier opponent than Cotto. All this wishful thinking by people wanting to see Cotto get beat is a waste of time. He is going to fight a marginal opponent in an HBO fight to tune up for a Margarito PPV fight. I think a Cotto-Margarito fight will have a great payoff for the fans.
