Diaz is being saved by Arum for Pacquiao. Believe that. The only thing that can stop that fight would be a disaster in Manny's next fight.

Why? Because he didn't have it in him to beat Pacquiao in October? Barrera was all warrior back in the day, it wasn't until HBO hyped him up as some sort of technical tactician that Barrera switched styles.

Morales is definitely the better warrior of the two, but to say Barrera is "no warrior" is a slap in his face the way I see it.

And for Barrera there would be no better way out than to beat David Diaz, the man who retired Erik Morales, and retire after that.
        PPV?

Grow up man learn the sport son. They have been milking Barrera for years. He has been shot for the last few years. Why do you think he was taking on Peden and Fanka.

His big step up was Juarez.

        Seriously.....learn the sport son.

THey wanted that big payday again with Manny Pac. So they moved him along. Made him look okay against some decent opponents.

And now they are going to shove this **** down our throats.

I've been watching the sport for 15 years, I don't need to "learn" anything. You and I just see things differently. I see Barrera and still capable of putting on a show against good (not great) fighters, you see him as being lured back in by the big paydays and high profile promotions department.

                Fair enough.

But its still pretty easy to figure out. Just read between the lines. The truth lies somewhere down the middle.

                Remember that.

Oh yeah, and Hilary for pres!

He was there for a moral victory. It wasn't a warrior mindset, and truth be told Barrera hasn't had one since he fought Morales. He just wanted to show he could go the distance, in spite of the oddsmakers and experts predicting him to be plowed over early.

Again, there was a time when Barrera was a warrior but he seemed to buy a little too much into what HBO said about him.

Barrera fought very well against JMM less than a year ago. People are getting cought up in the Pac fight. That's fine, just know that Barrera would have always had major problems with Pac.

I agree that Barrera could still beat certain fighters, but not at the elite level anymore. If he comes back it should just be to end on a good note.
