mike tyson is too mentally weak to deal with a guy like frazier

for god sakes when will people stop over-rating this guy

personally i pick frazier to bully tyson from round 4 onwards

No need to exaggerate to try and make a point. Holyfield is 6'2", 215 at his best. Joe Frazier was 5'11" 215 at his best. Not a huge difference.

Tyson would need to stop it early, because I think Joe is far too tough to lose it in the later rounds. I think Joe would wear Tyson down and stop it late provided Tyson doesn't unload too many successful bombs early on.

Tyson is vastly overrated because he dominated in an exciting fashion in a weak period for heavyweight boxing. Once Holyfield and Lewis came into the division, Tyson looked throughly B-class.

I mean, what is his legacy built on? Beating light-heavyweight Michael Spinks? Beating an old Larry Holmes? Struggling to beat Donovan Ruddock twice? His out of the ring antics no doubt nullified his potential, but no can argue with any credability that Mike Tyson is an all-time great. One of the most exciting fighters ever? No doubt. Potentially an all-time great? No doubt. Part of my ultimate ever PPV? No doubt.

Just imagine the 'greatest of all time' against the 'baddest man on the planet'. It'd be the biggest sporting event in history. Such a shame Ali and Tyson never boxed in the same era.

Would any of the guys you just mentioned be top 10 contenders today? I seriously doubt it. Tony Tucker? Please. And most of those guys were to scared of Tyson because of all of the hype to really hit him full force. The first guy that wasn't, Buster Douglas (a journeyman), not even a big hitter, put Mike's chin to the test.

Dont trust boxrec dude, its unreliable. I have Holyfield's autobiography and it said he was 6'3, he is listed at 6'2 1/2 but boxrec has a lot of heights wrong.

If Joe is still there in the second half of the fight, he owns Mike.

I don't go by Boxrec, I judge how they look next to other people in the ring. How is it "6'3"" Holyfield was dwarfed by 6'4" Rid**** Bowe?

How is it Evander looked close to the same height as Ibragimov, who was completely dwarfed by Shannon Briggs, who is 6'4" also.

Anything's possible, but I'll go with Tyson on this one.

I agree. Mike would have had a decent chance to stop Joe early, but if he didn't, he'd be in trouble. And Joe had a hell of a lot more heart than Tyson and would keep getting back up and coming after him. Mike didn't know how to react to people that weren't afraid of him.
