taylor flat out blamed his conditioning in this article but in the prefight he stated he was in the best condition of his life, training in the poconos with manny and his stable of high caliber sparring partners. I think Pavlik will slaughter Taylor in this one unless he gets ****** again which I think he will not do.

I think pavlik and taylor are great fighters. In the first fight pavlik got lucky and was able to come back from an almost assured early knockout and win. Maybe taylor didn't take him seriously after the knockdown? maybe we wasn't conditioned enough to finish him off,and gave him the chance he needed? I guess we will see. I was for pavlik in the first fight, and I am in this one to, but he is going to be fighting a very different taylor.

all i know is that this rematch is going to be ****ing fire. im more excited about this fight than anything else coming up right now.

taylors hand speed is unquestionably better than pavliks, and as we all saw he has power behind it as well. if pavlik gets through 5 rounds i think he will probably win. but pavlik is going to have to survive taylor for the early rounds- just like last time. taylor isnt going to get caught with anything big until the later mid-rounds in my estimation.

taylor is backed into a corner right now. his entire career is about to fall off a huge cliff, this fight is his only chance. nobody should underestimate how dangerous taylor is coming into this rematch.

this is going to be a GREAT fight. 21st century hagler/hearns- let's see it!

Taylor wasn't getting "slaugtered" like you guys say, he was leading on the scorecards and got hit with a big right hand and he got ko'd it's not like he got beat the whole fight, he did ok imo until the 7th

i like taylor...if you beat b hop twice, nobody can ever question your heart/

mark my words: taylor will KO kelly. He won't punch himself out this time..he's not as eager...he knows what to expect.

It's taking a lot of guts for Taylor to go about all this the way he is.

If there was something that got Pavlik through the first fight it was his toughness. The match went exactly like some people said, Pavlik would be coming straight at Taylor and give him opportunities. Pavlik got up from the canvas, Taylor never got a chance.
