Former world champion Jermain Taylor hits a giant tire during media day at the historic Johnny Tocco's Gym. Jermain appeared full of confidence as he prepares for his highly anticipated rematch against world middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik on February 16 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on HBO Pay-Per-View. Taylor said that he did not train properly for the first fight against Pavlik. He didn't run enough or spar enough and thus ran out of gas when he could not finish Pavlik after he had him hurt in the second round. Taylor is now back with trainer Ozell Nelson and has been in Las Vegas for three weeks already. He is running five miles six days a week and has been sparring about fifteen rounds every day. His weight is already at 170lbs.
