What annoys me about Mayweather...

He is a great fighter everyone knows that but he has the chance to do something Roy Jones couldn't do because of the lack of competiton he had in his prime and that is to become a top 5 fighter ever. The Welterweight division is really strong at the moment yet he decides to fight a fighter he has already beaten just to get more money, not add to his legacy.

I dont think he could become a top 5 fighter regardless, the DLH fight is just dumb.

i want to see him fight cotto also but it should come to no surprise that he may fight oscar for a second time...that was mentioned right after the first fight. if we're going to hold mayweather to certain standards and dog him for his opponents we should do the same to the others. the division is loaded the others should fight each other. mayweather has made it clear that he's fighting for big money

Its just that its seems as if you are condoning his actions. Almost as if he can do no wrong in your eyes. Im a big Cotto fan, but i have no problem with saying that a matchup with Gomez would be a BIG step backwards for Cotto at this time. Nothing but a waste of time.

What's really gonna be horrendous is when he takes a dive in this fight to set up a third fight which will earn him a ****ING fortune. It will also, in some way, legitmize his legacy, giving him a trilogy and making all three fights look competitive.

Cotto just beat SSM ..Floyd openly stated he wants none and Dela chose Floyd, so yeah he's fighting Gomez and then Margarito.
