I think it's Arum's way of getting the public interested in a Cotto-Margarito match. With Mayweather, you just get this fight and then nothing.

No he is not the only welter, but he sits atop that division. As a fan, dont u want to see if he's worthy of holding on to that title, by defending it against the top dogs in that division? I dont know about u, but i watch boxing to see competitive matchups. I can care less how much money fighter A is bound to make by fighting fighter B.

thats what Cotto is doing all of his fights at WW have been top ten welters.

Floyd hasnt defend his championship against one since winning it. and doesnt plan to this year either. BIG DIFFERNCE
