I seriously doubt that. The first fight between DLH/Floyd was so boring it will be lucky to half of the first fight.

Cotto/Floyd would do just as many PPV sales and would at least have the chance to be an exciting fight, unlike a DLH/Floyd rematch. Cotto/Margarito would be the most exciting match up style wise, but would probably not sell as much since Margarito is not a huge name and the fair weather fans that were drawn to the first DLH/Floyd fight are morons. These are the kind of fans that would rather watch Calzaghe/Manfredo than Calzaghe/Kessler.

well the fight was not that boring as anyone claimed and there is no need for a 2nd fight but if you could get alot of money by fighting Oscar hell yeah for him. and If Oscar wanna secure his legacy by beating Flody is a hell yeah for him too. It more of an individaul fight that will not make any good for boxing but it will be good for both fighters.

as for Cotto/Margarito I seen that coming Arum wanna get rid of Margarito and really hypen Cotto. that is the best way he could do it. But if Alfonso Gomes pulls and upset or at least Make Cotto look like a fool and Zab Judah win or TKO Margarito is going to be a bad for Arum

Fans make me sick. They always act like atheletes have to worry about them. They make me even more sick when they act like money doesnt mean anything. No way would anyone fight another guy over Oscar. No Boxer would. I gurantee you that. Fans are dumb for saying that guys should just fight the best boxer and not worry about money. This is life and everyone does it. YOU WOULD TOO! Why turn it down? Floyd also probally looks at it like he can fight Cotto, Williams, Pac, or whoever any time he wants but you dont get many chances with Oscar and you take them when you get them. If he says No to Oscar now to fight someone else then he's taking a super long shot on getting that fight again. No one is going to risk losing all that money.

Every fighter close to Oscar would drop everything there doing to fight him and its a fact. There's only a couple of guys who wouldnt and its for other reasons. Cotto & Williams might fight Floyd over Oscar and then all of you would sweat them like they want the big fights instead of the money fight when in reality thats so far from the truth. They would fight Floyd because he's 2nd to Oscar when it comes to money, they would make way more in there career, and Im telling you that those guys see Floyd as an easier fight then Oscar because of the size. Its the samething I always say. They dont fear Floyd because they think there too big for him. Everyone knows that Floyd is way better then Oscar P4P but I bet that both Williams and Cotto see Oscar as a bigger threat to them then Floyd, e****ally if the Oscar fight is at 154.

Im just shocked that Oscar is doing it. He does have some good reasons. Floyd is the #1 guy in boxing, he's the biggest name in boxing behind Oscar, and he's smaller. It can help his legacy so much and its the biggest money fight. I still thought he would fight Cotto 1st but for some reason he wont. I personaly think that as much as he talks about being friends with Arum, he still likes to stick it to him. Oscar is fake though because he said that he would never fight Floyd again because Floyd runs. Now you have other WW's who wont run and you wont fight them? I guess there names just arent big enough but like I said, Floyd does bring alot more pluses to the table then those 2. Im sure that your hoping like me that Oscar will still fight Cotto on Cinco De Mayo and then fight Floyd but I doubt it. My guess is that Arum will rip the public off with the Cotto tuneup and then the Cotto vs Margarito fight. I call it a ripoff because there the 2 most hyped guys in the game and someone will win close which will make them both look like 2 studs who everyone is scared off instead of maybe 2 overrated guys who cant beat the big boys

Your stance is that of a fanboy, as opposed to a fight fan. You should be concerned about him taking on the opponents who will make interesting fights, fights that do more for his legacy, more for the sport itself, & towards silencing his critics.
Their first fight left a lot to be desired, & a rematch would probably be even worse. So, instead of talking like Floyd is your brother or putting food on your table.....talk like someone who is a fan of the sport.

Oscar is the star of boxing and has earned the right to do this wether you like it or not. I love how guys always try to play Oscar like he's a chump. Thats the only thing that makes me mad about this fight. I bet he would still either beat or nearly beat anyone in that WW division besides Floyd and you know it. I wish he would fight one of them just to get people to shut up 1st about this fight. Everyone on this board was just sweating Mayorga and Oscar decpaitated him in the fight before Floyd. The Oscar who fought Floyd wouldve gave Williams, Cotto, Cintron, Clottey, and Margarito hell that night. Stop acting like he's a bum because you know he's far from that. He's the star and the money machine so he has a right to call his shots.

How can you talk bad about how Floyd fights? I think its so funny that people only remember the 2 back to back fights Floyd had with Oscar & Baldy. Thats all they remember so they rip him for the way he fights. Before those 2 fights he had 6 straight fights where he was all action. He KO 4 of them very early, dropped Chop twice, and may have stopped Zab if it wasnt for the low blow. Then after the Oscar fight he KO's Hatton. Stop dissing the way he fights. Its no coincedence that those 2 boring fights were against by far the biggest guys he ever fought while he looked like a skinny boy. Im not saying that I want to see this fight because I really dont but I completely understand it and I also think it will be way more entertaining then the 1st fight because neither guy would show the other the same respect. Oscar will definatly press him more and get very physical in this fight. Floyd was scared of the 154 pound weight and didnt know if he could handle it. Now he knows that Oscar cant really hurt him and would have no fear of him this time. Both guys would open up more
