but anybody that thinks calzaghe is top 10 alltime is a joke...

and i can't believe you guys give him so much credit...

like hatton said " i could have stayed at 140 IN MY COMFORT ZONE and let all them come to me"

but hatton didn't he stepped up and challenged the best,

joe can say what he wants about negotiations, but he should have forced the fight with a big name earlier by doing what ricky did and going to america fighting a couple fighters and then calling out a big name..

instead he stayed in wales and his biggest victories are jeff lacy(hype) and kessler (good not great)

ricky could probably have stayed in england fought malignaggi, torres, witter etc and gone undefeated also

and quit bring up dominance... that just further proves the point about comfort zone...

look at all the current great fighters they all step up

look at dela hoya's record he's fought true champs even though he didn't dominate

yeh but hatton would of still lost to mayweather at jww.

Thats because the best will not fight joe. How many times has b-hop dodge joe untill now? Joe will fight anyone but it's getting the best to put there record/belt/pride on the line because 10 years undefeated is a big intimidation factor agenst these so called great fighters.

ok, does anyone know if this calzaghe-hopkins fight is official yet? cuz I checked espn, goldenboypromotions.com, joecalzaghe.com and there isn't any mention of that fight nor is it in any of the scheduling on those sites. the only site that has it is boxrec.com and that site isn't reliable. can anyone confirm this fight as happening?

It is official, there's an article somewhere here in BS saying Warren confirmed the fight is a done deal.

There are 3 names that you must have in your top 10 if you are to be taken even remotely seriously.

                    Pernell Whitaker
                    Sugar Ray Robinson
                    Willie Pep

Armstrong probably deserves an automatic spot just as much as Whittaker.
