    Mayweather vs Barrera & Morales

How come PBF never fought these guys when he was at Featherweight/Super Featherweight? Correct me if Im wrong, but I remember all 3 were on that weight class the same damn time, like from 2000-2002 I think? Some people tell me that Mayweather wanted none of those legendary Mexican Boxers, but others tell me that Barrera & Morales were the ones who were scared of PBF?!? Now IMO, I find the latter hard to believe because Barrera and Morales were never scared of anyone, but I find the former a little bit believable. But its just my opinion. What really happened? Or was my timeline just screwed up?

But anyway, if Mayweather(Featherweight/Super Featherweight version) fought those 2(both of whom were obviously at their prime at the time), would he have still won? Coz alot of people thought that PBF absolutely dominated that weight class. But honestly I felt that had he fought Barrera and/or Morales, its a likely possibility that he would have 1 or 2 losses by now. Alot of you guys might say that PBF has more skill than them(a point Im not entirely convinced), but he doesn't have as much heart and will than each of them. Add the fact theyre not exactly slouches and are obviously 2 of the most skilled boxers to ever put on a boxing glove in the last decade, I really think Barrera and Morales would've given PBF a run for his money. What do you guys think?

What do I think? I think you need to have your head examined for even considering these fights ever taking place. Mayweather by curb stomp over both of these two Mexican greats. Sorry, man.

Don't knoe Floyd was at 135 in '02. Morales and Barerra give Floyd a tough fighr, but Floyd wins by UD.

Your timelines are way off. Floyd left the super featherweight division in Late 02 I believe with his last defense being against Jesus Chavez. Morales didn't reach the division until 03 and Barerra reached it AFTER Morales did (fighting Morales for the title I am not 100% sure about that though). Floyd DOMINATED the super featherweight division. Him and Morales are actually around the same size I believe and I think a bout with them both would have been very tactical, much like high speed chess. Floyd would have came out victorious however, he had more power than both at that particular weight and he was just as fast if not faster.

Floyd was still too green for them.

But he had a big chance to KO them as well with speed I think he could win by KO but if Morales and Barrera played there gameplan quit well with the young Floyd they would have won.

remeber Morales and Barrera at SFW is not there best class weight it was there ending in there career.

and prime vs prime it definity Floyd

Who outweighed him by 20 pounds. Floyd was known as a KO artist, a boxer/puncher at 130. He was like 27-0 with 20ks or something like that. Those fights between the three would have been a sight to see.

El Terrible would have given Floyd fits back in his prime. A prime Morales would have given Floyd a helluva tough fight. Morales could easily fight at 140 lbs.

So Mayweather beats DLH at 154, but Barrera and Marquez get beat by Pac at 130... and you actually think these guys would have a chance against Mayweather? Astounding...

I think Morales gives him more trouble than does Barrera. Not only because of his size, but also because of his style.

I really think Morales gives Floyd a tough fight, and I can see a close decision going either way (depending on whether you like aggressiveness and punch output, or accuracy and ring generalship)
