    GAtti....ahem..
    Mitchell..

so how many "tune ups" does he get?
Dude, we've been through this. Well mostly just the Gatti and Mitchell part.

I don't know about Sosa, I thought Sosa was just a defense. You may be right about that.

Corley was the 140 first fight... the tester, to see what it was like, which he probably didn't need. Corley was before Bruseles by the way.

No comment on Bruseles... a dumb unneccessary fight for Floyd.

Gatti wasn't a tune-up... it was a chance to become a PPV name... which he did. Mission accomplished, even though not a whole lot of return came for his legacy.

Mitchell was a tune-up for Judah.

Well when my defense is... it's a tune-up bout, and I am met with, "TUNE-UP BOUTS?!? **** FLOYD HE IS DUCKING EVERYONE!" Then I am well within my bounds to talk **** on their boy for taking a tune-up bout I would think.

Obviously and they would have every right too. Mayweather has his choice of Williams, Cotto, DLH, ... anybody. He could probably get Klitschko to move down to 147

Now if it was a tuneup against Gomez and garunteed that 2 months later he'd fight one of those guys, nobody with half a clue would complain

Mayweather doesn't fold under the pressure, Zab does. Judah is a good fighter, even a great one, when he fight someone without much power or a chin. I think Margarito is the worst possible match-up.

Of course there is a possiblity of Judah outboxing or severely rocking Margarito but that chance is slim because of Judah's weaknesses and Margarito's strenghts.
Judahs only weakness is that he loses focus late into fights. Margaritos are a weak defence, slow feet and hands and hes never fought anyone with the same speed as zab.

That has been Zab downfall, he loses focus. Hell, talent wise, Zab is one of the most gifted boxers to ever lace them up. He has nice speed, with some dynamite power. He needs to focus more then he can be on the elite level again but dont get it twisted Zab is still the **** man. YA DIG
I agree with all this post with the focus of Floyd he would be G.O.A.T. contender. Come on Zab make it happen, baby!

Great analysis Kball and let me add this; Cotto is a 3 fight per year 'superstar' and this fight allows to do that...

Of course Cotto could bypass Gomez and go right straight to fighting Floyd.

Oh sorry, floyd and his fans do not want that fight. floyd prefers to hide and beg Oscar for a rematch.
