anyway...... so what that they hit harder????......then i can easily say gomes KO'd Perez in 4 and Baldomir barely got an MD in a fight he got hurt several times....

styles make fights all those guys you mention are basically boxers, alfonso is a pressure fighter....
The question is ****** to you buts it very true. Please do not let being a fan get in the way of you having common sense. Its just laughable how you claim to think that Gomez would knockout Boldimer, please. Styles makes fights but Gomez is no where near thier level. Gomez was fighting cautious and safe against Tackie, what do you think he would do against a bigger threat in Boldimer? Gomez is a decent fighter no doubt, but matching well against any elite or even former elite fighter is something that i just dont see happening.

He may not have world class boxing skills but he sure has a world class chin and that evens it out a bit.

There is no basis on which to say that. A better version of Zab got whipped then. People say that Carlos' carreer is on the downslide, and maybe it is. But even more so is Zab's. Including their fight against each other, they have gone

            Carlos: 3-2 (1)
            Zab: 2-3--0-1 (0)

Carlos wasn't impressive against Perez, but Judah also got rocked against Ryan Davis. By the end of the fight, Baldomir had started to dominate, he just had a rocky start. He was using his jab to great effect. It it were a 12 rounder Carlos would have won the last two rounds easily. It would have been 117-111. Baldomir cannot make 147 anymore, but I guarantee, the Baldomir that lost to Forrest just a few months ago would tear Judah a new *******.

              Carlos Baldomir is underrated.
he beat clottey.......clottey beat himself in that fight he was disqulified........if he never got that lucky win that he didint work for none of the other fights would have even happend.....clottey was winnig that fight before it was stoped becuz of ruff tactics

Baldomir looked like **** against a handpicked clubfighter on Telefutura a couple of weeks ago. He doesn't have very much left. A rematch win for Zab would prove about as much as Wladimir Klitschko beating Corrie Sanders now.

Most people have not seen that fight, I have been lucky enough to see a video of it. It was a very close fight, and 5 rounds to 5 or 6-4 Clottey are the one scores possible. It was very close. He was fouling Carlos all night, and not just with the head. There was a break due to a low blow, but no point deduction even though Joshua was warned 3 or 4 times.

yeah i see and agree with what you are saying. Floyd was controlling and dictating the pace but it was not like it was an easy fight or nothing, Hatton had his moments.

are you in my mind or something to know what i think??...i really dont expect big things form gomez...i'm just going with what i saw form their last few fights, i saw baldomir barely get by a journeyman(a journeyman gomez KO'd) while getting hurt several times...and gomez went and outclassed a fighter no one but a few thougt he could beat in gatti, in fact i got laughed at when i said gomez would ko gatti worse than baldmoir did and bet 50k on him, who was right in the end????

gomez broke his hand in round 2 vs tackie(broke completely and i didnt see him rolling in pain like cintron who only bruised his hand, lol)...and he still won 8 rounds(contrary to the biased commentaries of teddy atlas who only gave him 6...)
