Mayweather isn't that much better then Cotto

I'm not gonna lie, I don't like Money Mayweather, but I respect his body of work. But for anyone to say Mayweather body of work is better than Cotto's is insane. The same people Mayweather has beaten, Cotto has destroyed. And the separate opponents Mayweather has beaten, Cotto opponents were just as good or better. You say Mayweather/DLH, I say Cotto/Mosely (lets not forget Mosley beat DLH twice even if i feel Mosley lost the second fight), you say Mayweather/Hotton, I say Cotto/Paulie Malignaggi. Cotto Really don't need Mayweather as long as he continue to fight the top wetherweights. I would be something like Hopkins and Jones. The fact that Jones need Hopkins more than Hopkins need Jones now. Hopkins kelp winning while Jones kelp running from him. I'm not saying Cotto will beat Mayweather, but he has a way better chance then Hatton did.

I'm not sure if the Gomez fight is 100% confirmed, but it's on the table according to the article on the front page, for April. The DLH was booked for May. Meaning that he basically chose to fight Gomez over DLH..

there was no, and is no, single fight... that makes ANYONE... pound for pound the best.... its longevity, consistency, undefeated, opposition, dominance, skill, champion in 5 weight classes and still going... has never been beaten... its an acculumation over an entire career that gets you to be p4p #1... not any one single fight

zab judah and baldomir were top 10 WW's.. and you dont have to beat a top 10 ww to be considered p4p best... i never knew the welterweight division is the gateway to the pound for pound ranking

Actually Baldomir was the champ at 147 and Judah was ranked #2 when Floyd fought him. Thats two top 3 Welterweights at the time floyd fought them.
