Wow someone takes themselves too serioously and doesn't realize they sound like a moron doing it. This isn't the best fight for Cotto, but if its going to happen in the end of Feb or beginning of March I can understand. If not then Cotto has been forced into a bad situation. I wouold rather see Clottey in there with Cotto ro be honest, but if I were Clottey I'd wait out my mandatory with Cintron (much more of a winnable fight for Joshua). But if I was Cintron I would push heavy for this fight, his cashout fight with a puncher's chance to stun the world, but if he loses everyone expected him to so it wouldn't be a letdown. If not Gomez will give a respectable fight for the time it last but not a respectable feeling of Cotto facing the top welterweight out there. Then again Mayweather could defend his welterweight crown against the top challenge, hmm that sounds logical.

Gomez might not be that much of a threat, but he's comming off a few good wins. It could be a good fight to set up Cotto vs Williams or vs Margarito in the future.
