At his absolute peak, Jones could do anything he wanted to anyone he wanted. He looked like he held beck a lot too which makes it more insane.

Well avenging both of those losses by KO helps his case......Not many fighters can retire and say they beat everyone they ever stepped in the Ring with.

No offence but I don't think Roy's resume matches up to Lennox.
Sure he made people look ordinary...but some of them were ordinary and shouldn't have shared a ring with RJJ.
Lennox fought everyone of his Era worth their salt and beat them apart from Rid**** Bowe who ducked Lennox by chucking his belt in the bin.

Calzaghe is definetely one of the most talented fighters of this era. I think his resume is actually good. Not very good but good.

Based on talent alone though it'd be tough to pick JC ahead of Floyd or RJJ, probably pips Lewis based on talent. The best of British in my mind.

Might as well advertise my pick. SWEET PEA WHITAKER. He made GREAT fighters look ordinary.

What I think sets Roy apart from the others is his athletic gifts/punching power. Comparing him in a P4P sense he's more dangerous than most if not all the other guys on that list however great picks they are.

Mayweather is a solid vote, he'll he's accomplished. I can't say he's a better fighter than Roy is though. He's a better defensive fighter for sure, there's no dis*****g that. Maybe even as good as Pernell Whitaker.

If this was a "Who's the greatest Defensive Fighter of all time" poll or even "Who is the most skilled fighter of all time" poll I'd vote for Mayweather or Whitaker.

They're both obviously more skilled as they've shown to be tacticians.

Roy was an upgraded version of Sugar Ray Robinson because he was much more mobile. I mean those facets are what defined SRR as the G.O.A.T. outside of his old school toughness (something Roy never displayed because he just outclassed everyone he fought in his prime).
