i have watched all but one of solis fight and i have to say that he seems to be getting worse. I think he should have gone to America and got a good trainer he also needs to get down to 220lb. he is enjoying germany to much, he can work his way to a title shot but thats it unless he sorts him self out. There are some good young heavyweights it will be interesting to see them fight each other. I am looking forward to povetkin chambers, I am not a big fan of povetkin but if he wins big against chambers i will be impressed, I will also be very impressed if chambers beats povetkin.

I think you hit the nail on the head with regards to Solis going to the USA instead of Deutschland.

Some people who saw the fight said Witherspoon got a gift decision vs. Releford. If he can't easily beat Releford, he's not much of a prospect.

Does Chazz Witherspoon use the "Can Opener"?

That's not a really smart way to look at it, Ibragimov got a draw against Austin, yet look at him now.

Yeah he is being led to the gallows. Wladimir will be the executioner.

But I get your point. Chazz might become something, maybe even as good as his cousin Tim.

The difference is, Austin had a huge reach advantage over Sultan, and was actually a fringe contender, ranked by the computers in the BoxRec and IBO top 30.

Releford is an "opponent", a club fighter who's lost to the same level of opposition as Austin has defeated. And Ibragimov should have won a close decision in his fight with Austin, while observers thought Releford deserved a win in his fight with Witherspoon.
