My 2 picks for best Potential AT THE MOMENT are Povetkin & Solis.
Although Povetkin doesn't have massive Power he has plenty of Boxing skill & ability.
Solis is a Big Power Puncher who also has good Boxing skills and a tremendous amatuer career behind him.
My biggest fear with Solis is he doesn't look well conditioned...but hey I might be wrong.
And my 2 "Wild Cards" are Haye & Boytsov.
Boytsov is only 21 but shows similarities with a young Mike Tyson and has a vicious body assault.
Thing is he hasn't really had a big test yet.
He is on the Undercard of Skelton Chagaev so hopefully we might see him in action soon.
Haye Obviously has BIG Power but the chin is in question.
His only foray into the HW division he beat Tomasz Bonin by first round TKO.
A guy who's only loss was to Fraudley Harrison who struggled with bonin for 9 rounds before getting a very questionable stoppage.

One thing is for sure if the HW division can start putting some of these young guns together we might just get some excitement back in the former "Glamour" division.

    PLEASE TAKE NOTE PROMOTERS.

You can do that for literally every single fighter, and you do not need "Power" to be a good skilled boxer.
You do need work ethic and that's what Solis seemingly lacks. 6 feet tall 250 pounds?

      Wow.

        Wow.
He needs to be 220-230. He has been fighting at 250-260 which is too much for him, at 220-230 he has speed and movement, much better fighter at a lighter weight.

Solis has progressively gotten lighter since he turned pro but he was still 248 for his last fight, almost as heavy as Julius Long, a man 13 inches taller than Solis.

I hope he will keep getting lighter but I've heard he thinks he is comfortable at that weight. He might be wasted potential if that is true.

              Lol

I hope he does'nt become the second coming of James Toney as in eating habits. He is very talented and as long as he stays between 220-240 i think he could do good stuff.

Solis struggled in his fight with Julius Long, I watched it on an internet link. He certainly didn't look like anyone who'll ever win a title - he seems to have gone downhill since his first fights last year. It probably has to do with the softer life in Germany, and yes, all that great German food.

Povetkin's in for a difficult fight against Chambers, who I rate as the third best young heavyweight.

Just curious, where do you rate Ibragimov, Peter, Valuev, Ruiz, Maskaev, etc?

                      1. Wladimir Klitschko
                      2. Alexander Povetkin
                      3. Ruslan Chagaev
                      4. Sultan Ibragimov
                      5. Nicolai Valuev
                      6. JC Gomez
                      7. Vladimir Virchis
                      8. Eddie Chambers
                      9. Sam Peter
                      10.Oleg Maskaev

I'd put Chagaev ahead of Pov based on what he's accomplished as a pro, but as far as who would beat who, this is how I rank them. I think Peter is too slow to hit Chambers directly enough to hurt him.
