I think Taylor's gunna take this with a pretty clear decision or perhaps a late round KO.

Good post Kball. Read the whole article there. That interviewer was an idiot. Taylor wisely said he didn't want to look past this fight at all, and then he goes and asks him about potential matchups with Calzaghe and Lazy Lacy? What a muppet.

Is that the motivating factor or is it purely revenge that is on your mind?

JT: It was my first professional loss. I certainly want to revenge the loss and it gives me plenty of motivation. Any fighter with any kind of pride would feel the same way.

The sign of a consummate professional. Dont bring money into the matter, fans dont like that. Whether this is true or not, and i have reason to not believe him, this is what we as fans WANT to hear.

Not what Mayweather goes running on about, that he'll only fight if there is enough money. that ****s disgraceful.

              Here is the full interview:
              http://www.*********.com/newman70.htm

As much as want Kelly Pavlik to knock him out cause i love Pavlik, i will definetly be rooting for Taylor in the rest of his fights.
What are you guys talking about? 1st off he lost the fight so he is in no position to talk about money. 2nd, he makes more money with this fight then any other fight out there. The only other guys he may come close to making more money against are even harder fights then Pavlik so stop trying to make Taylor out to being this great guy who cares nothing about money. I think that your forgetting about after the Spinks fight when he stated on National TV that he was going to fight whoever brought him the most money. The money matters to these guys the same as they do to everyone else in the world and they shouldnt be criticized for that. Why do that have to care what you as a fan wants to see or think? Its about there family first and money is always a priority nomatter what alot of you seem to think

at the end of the day its not a big deal anyway because 95% of the time the big money is for the big fights so it all works hand in hand. You make it sound like Taylor is going to make so much more money fighting guys easier then Pavlik. He's not. If he was then you could say something but this means nothing special

Jermain Taylor has more balls than brains, that's for sure. His pride is gonna get him knocked out cold again and his career will pretty much be over. He should've taken a tune up fight before facing Pavlik again, very dumb move by Taylor and his handlers.

Anybody who thinks JT doesnt have a chance against Pavlik is crazy. Jt & Pavlik is guaranteed fireworks & Knockdowns on 2/16/07. Any fighter whos not trying to get as much money as they can for a fight is a ****ing idiot. Some of these hater fans would only be happy if Floyd & JT ended up broke.

Yes he is. All he cares about is money. That's why he fought De La Hoya and Hatton instead of Cotto and Margarito. Cotto would be a far tougher fight for him than Hatton and he would'nt have made half as much money.

I'm not saying Floyd is afraid of Cotto. He's just not interested in fighting the best guys around. He can make a lot more money fighting an over-the-hill De La Hoya.

He clearly cares about nothing but money and he demonstrates this with everything he says and does.
