JERMAIN TAYLOR is really earning my Respect!!!

FN:Since this fight is over the weight, no title is at stake. You could have easily and understandably moved up in weight and gone after some other opponent. The fact that the first fight was fantastic in the minds of fans and boxing experts alike surely translates into $$$ for the rematch. Is that the motivating factor or is it purely revenge that is on your mind?

JT: It was my first professional loss. I certainly want to revenge the loss and it gives me plenty of motivation. Any fighter with any kind of pride would feel the same way.

    ----------------------------------------------

The sign of a consummate professional. Dont bring money into the matter, fans dont like that. Whether this is true or not, and i have reason to not believe him, this is what we as fans WANT to hear.

Not what Mayweather goes running on about, that he'll only fight if there is enough money. that ****s disgraceful.

As much as want Kelly Pavlik to knock him out cause i love Pavlik, i will definetly be rooting for Taylor in the rest of his fights.

He is making bank on this fight, but he has pride too.

And Mayweather has ****loads of pride. That's why all the talk about money is annoying. May is not all about money either.

i always liked taylor, and even though i am a pavlik fan i actually felt bad when taylor lost, and larry interviewed him after the fight! you could tell he was really upset about losng his titles, and was almost in tears! he is a good kid, and i hope he continues on and regains his confidence!

then why in the world does he talk about money.

it does nothing for the promotion of the fight or anything at all. Its just plain annoying and disrespectful to the fans who actually wind up financing the whole thing.

Well...he still has balls, fighting Pavlik so quickly after getting smashed.
But I don't believe it was a wise thing to do...

I have already stated he wants this fight as much as any other and he will come back ready to throw blows. I don't know if he will win but it should be a damn good fight.

That's the question. I don't know the answer. He doesn't understand himself that well, he's just a kid really. He never did grow up. But listen to him talk, he's a fighter not a business man.
