    Paulie beats Cotto
    Judah beats Cotto
    Quintana beats Cotto
    Mosley beats Cotto

    Now Oscar beats Cotto?

I'm tired of hearing those ****s if the results is different in the ring.

Everytime Cotto gets an opponent, everyone says he's going to get beat. Cotto's just going to prove you all wrong again. 80% of the posters here were saying Mosley would win by brutal KO. The true Cotto believers were flamed and called nut huggers. Cotto will brutalize Hoya and send him into retirement. Delahoya will not win this fight no matter how much everyone wishes it to be. Cotto will destroy Delahoya and still not get the credit he deserves.

At this time in Oscar's boxing career, he can't hang with Cotto. Like everybody else, Oscar's gonna get some clean shots. But he ain't stopping Cotto. You gotta be delussional to even think "businessman" De La Hoya will stop Miguel Cotto. The Oscar that fought Quartey...."THAT" Oscar would've beaten Cotto....but not "THIS" De La Hoya.

I agree, but De La Hoya is the true prize in terms of profile and box office.

Who does Cotto stand a better chance of beating? Oscar, right? All in all De La Hoya could be the best option for Cotto. Miguel has placed his career in the hands of a promotional company to make all the decisions. They ain't interested in Miguel becoming an ATG welterweight, they're interested in the bottom line. Who needs Floyd? Even with the intrigue of Ricky Hatton, Mayweather wasn't able to crack 1 million PPV sales. Oscar did more than twice that with Floyd. Financially, team Cotto is getting what they want in a fight with Oscar De La Hoya; seemingly less risk and more money.

I'm just interested to see if they'll have a 24-7 series for De La Hoya/Cotto. It would be a real affront to Miguel if they don't have one.. A clear sign of his lack of image and charisma. Hopefully, that's not the case.

Thats for a good reason. People feel he is not invencible when he fights. He always gets in trouble. Sooner or later he'll run out of luck. Anyway Oscar can't make 147 anymore so the fight could be at 154... Cotto cannot afford to wait till 09 for Mayweather if PBF decides to comeback! At 27 Cotto should be fighting the big fights and if he wins, he will be a great opponent for PBF in 09 or Williams, if PBF decides not to fight again.
