Maybe because the HW div gets more ink, If he unified and then defended in devastating fashion say 5 times.
All time P4P list? To erase those losses?? I dunno...walk on water?
3 losses in 52 fights isnt bad by any means espescially considering 2 of the 3 were obvious flukes in which he just didnt pace himself and gassed out after dominating and avenged 1. I think he could still be in the lower lb 4 lb ratings. say between 8 and 10

Unify the titles and beat solid opposition without losing unless he is past his prime and near 40.

dont insult peoples intelligence, wlad won every minute of every round against purrity and brewster before hitting the wall, no way that qualifies as convincing. he proved he was the better fighter by dominating brewster in the rematch.

as far as purrity goes, chalk that up to piss poor management, no way wlad should have been put in with a guy who has never been knocked out, drew against tommy morrison.... on 3 weeks notice.
wlad had never been past the 6th round at that point and was absolutely dominating purrity through 9 rounds until he totally gassed. that was awful management. he should have been fighting 8 rounders at that point in his career

Besides that, Wlad was beaten convincingly by a few people out there and to overcome those losses and be recognized he has got to really shine against some top notch opponents. Unfortunately those top notch opponents are not there, and if they were he would again fail to meet expectations.
He already beat brewster do you want him to fight 45 year old Corrie Sanders after he beat Ibragimov? what is the point of that, Sanders keeps getting injured everytime he tries to make a comeback, same goes for Ross Purrity. He needs to get the best fights out there. He has to fight the winner of Maskaev Peter

Yeah as if only Americans are there in the p4p discussions.. Why would Wlad be listed up there?

Because he beat Ray Austin and Lamon Brewster?? He is a good title holder and the number one HW and might be top 20 p4p but not near top 10 until he beats Sultan, then he could be considered.

Umm...Why not? The p4p discussions were made so that people could argue about who is the most skilled and most dominating boxer active today.

If the heavyweight competition is good and one man is dominating the division he should be up there in the p4p discussions.
