Everyone says he was invincible but I'm not convinced. Benn and Mcclellan would of KTFO out of him.

    Antonio Tarver and Glen Johnson.

I don't think many could test his jaw until he lost his reflexes.

You can make that argument. You can also make the argument that Calzaghe never faced a PRIME American opponent on a superstar, ELITE level. He actually still may never.

Hey, anyone ever hear the one about not throwing stones when you're living in a glass house?

RJJ faced plenty of opposition, better opposition than Calzaghe but he also faced some very questionable fighters to make himself look like the greatest.

All those flashy KO's with his hands behind his back and triple uppercuts were against former lightweights, old men and padded up no-hopers.

But this thread is just a silly response to the RJJ fans who hate on Calzaghe.

Why do you need to beat a Prime American Opponent to prove your worth?
At this moment in time the Super middleweight division is ruled by European fighters.
One ELITE fighter in particular by the name of Joe Calzaghe.
With a nation of 300 million people it seems the American fighters are way underrachieving of late don't you think?

Did you hear the one about not throwing stones when living in a glass house?

At 168 Calzaghe is better than Hopkins or Toney.
Shame Roy didn't want to face Joe.

By the way, I was never a Roy Jones fan.

I was acctually a huge RJ hater, I like JoeC but if your trying to build up Joe by belittling Jones.

                    It doesn't work that way.
