The more styles of fighters you have to deal with, the better you are or shoud be when you're at the top. You have a bigger melting pot of fighters in America.
i would nt say JEFF LACY is very versatile yet he rose to prominence in the US & he was a world champion as did Vivian Harris

both were owned good style by British fighters coincidently both British fighters that were underdogs in these fights

i think u can see what im getting at ,the American Circuit is'nt all its built upto be ,did i forget to mention Hatton beat Tszyu who reigned supreme in the US at Light Welter needless to say Hatton too was the underdog

its time people in the US realised that just cause they dont get to see u fight that dont mean u aint a good fighter & that there are fighters who dont fight on the US circuit that are capable of beating the ones that do

I don't know about everyone else in his career. But yes, Lacy was overrated. I NEVER, repeat, NEVER thought of him as elite, p4p wise, and I also thought Calzaghe would win.

Nonetheless, I think fighting maybe.. I dunno.. More then once or twice IN America, would help him out. In terms of his legacy.

Clearly, I was generalizing. Nonetheless, I'm talking about when Calzaghe was in the 168 division, and it has Jones.. Toney.. So on and so forth.

They maybe didn't want the fights either, I'm not here to argue who ducked who. I don't care.

What I'm saying is.. you, I personally believe, have to be a more versatile fighter to make it in ANY place that has a melting pot effect to it. America is that place.

Not TRYING to sell European fighters short, I like Khan, Calzaghe Hatton. Calzaghe especially.

I realize he is a good fighter, no matter how many times I'm able to see him or not. But, legacy-wise, it would shut up a lot of his critics.

                Yeah.

When you fight real fighters......your K.O. % goes down.

That's why Roy was so great, *points to K.O. %*

He took a few right hands from Ruiz. Even though Ruiz is horrible, he still is a heavyweight and he knocked Holyfield down so I don't think his chin is terrible. It isn't the best but he could take a decent punch when he was younger.

Ruiz doesn't test peoples chins, he just grapples with you for 12 rounds.
