good post, graham like most trainers is way overated, i cant remember hearing him depart with any sound tactical advice between rounds, a bit like floyd sr, all he used to tell de la hoya was 'walk him down son, walk him down' wtf?? what are these guys being payed huge sums of money for? they should be reading the fight and giving their fighter specific instructions

You know that twelve weeks that the fighter spends with the trainer where the trainer tells the fighter what to do? You know the guy who gives the boxer pointers? This usually happens before the fight and is known as "training". And the guy who runs that is known as the "trainer". And his job is to "train" the fighter...

Not sure where you get the "huge sums" from, they generally make less than 10%.

honestly some of the **** that comes from these trainers mouths is shocking. ive always thought goosen (think its dan) gives sensible, constructive advice between rounds. But then we only usually get to hear a small amount during a fight

Goosen is pretty cool, i think everyone was impressed with how he handled shane moesly in the corner during the winky wright saga.

Funnily enough, yoel judah was actually giving zab some decent advice during the mayweather fight.
