I never disliked Tarver. I'm not a fan of his. I wish him success but he wouldn't beat Bernard any day of the week.

Tarver started pro boxing at a very late age. He had family issues, a drug addiction to overcome and a family to take care of. He overcame his obstacles and won the world title. And he showed the heart and character to avenge 3 of his losses. He's a true Champion.
dude it has nothing to do with Roy.. did you read what I typed??

He started amateur as a kid.. and yes i know the whole story about drugs etc.. was in pan am games etc etc.. not like he was a nobody picking up pro boxing..

but he was trying to claim credit that wasnt due.. im not a fan of his persona..

When he was beat by Eric Harding, he moved on and won some more fights. He was put into a postion to go on and fight for a world title. But Tarver said no, he said he would not be a true champion unless he beat Harding first. And he went back and avanged his loss with a brutal TKO. He's a 4 time world champ and has always fought the best. He is no dought a top 10 LHW.
