ok. roy drops from heavyweight to fight him.. was very drained from making weight.. you could even tell jones was soft, didnt thave his usual ripped physique.. He won that fight on straight out heart.. When he explained how the weight drop affected him, Antonio did nothing but critisize him..

2nd time Roy came prepared. Completely owned him in 1st round.. then just got caught from lucky shot.. gunshy for next fights after..

But what gets me.. Why the *** does Tarver make same excuse as Roy for when he lost to bernard??? "I was drained from droppin the weight from the Rocky movie"

It's sad how Antonio Tarver is hated by the boxing community. No prize fighter who puts his life on the line should be hated like that. He had to over come alot in his life, he was the underdog at once. I assume Im the last Traver fan on the planet. Even Tarver said he gets booed in his native Tampa Bay sometimes. But I will stand by my fighter though thick and thin.

Tarver started pro boxing at a very late age. He had family issues, a drug addiction to overcome and a family to take care of. He overcame his obstacles and won the world title. And he showed the heart and character to avenge 3 of his losses. He's a true Champion.
