    similar to the IBF.
yeah, you're right! The thing is Baldomir won the WW Undisputed Titles from Zab, but because his camp didn't pay the sanctioning fee's for the other Titles (IBF, WBA) he really only won the WBC, which later was won by Mayweather.

Wrong, they actually gave Peter an interim WBC title belt because Maskaev pushed the bout off too many times.

Now, there are, in effect 2 WBC belts in the heavyweight division, and Maskaev has to eventually fight him, otherwise, the "true" championship gets shifted over to Peter, and Maskaev gets the interim championship.

The very same thing happened in the lightweight division.

Joel Casamayor had the WBC belt, but due to inactivity, his mandatory, David Diaz, got an interim belt, that was eventually upgraded to the real championship, while Casamayor now has the interim belt.

Don't give me that **** about the WBC doesn't make you fight mandatories.

Yeah if they didn't, Bernard Hopkins would have never had to fight Hakkar.

dude, you must be talking about "Intercontinental" Like what Antonio Margarito just won beating Golden Johnson. There ARE NEVER two of the same Titles in ANY division. It ain't the same thing, homes! And I will say it AGAIN...THE World Boxing Council "DOES NOT" mandate you to fight the #1 Contender, unlike WBA, IBF, WBO sanctioning. If so, than just answer this, and keep it real.....

Why does The WBC Champ, Floyd Mayweather "NOT" fight any of his mandatory, #1 Contenders????. And dude, please don't use the "Ain't no money it" thing.

          the floor is yours....

Hatton was rated #1 by the WBC. That technically was his mandatory.

Ndou at Lightweight was a mandatory IIRC. Carlos Rios was. He's fought mandatories before.

Andre Berto is ranked number 1 by the WBC. Miguel Angel Rodriguez number 2. Hatton 3 Chavez Jr 4.

If this is vacated, Berto vs Rodriguez? http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php...0835&cat=boxer

You dont have to fight your mandatory as your first fight when you win a belt, nor after you have faced a mandatory, they give you a window. Floyd has fought mandatories, the past few years he hasnt stayed in the same weight class long enough to fight some of them. If Maskaev could get out of fighting Peter and keep his belt he would, he did it a few times. He does not want to face that man, but like many want the glory of having a championship belt. So in order to not be stripped he is fighting Peter.

Floyd persuaded Hatton to go up to 147. Hatton is ranked like #3 or 4 in the 147 Division. At 140 he was the IBF Champ.

Because the WBC want money. They will never force The Oscar Delahoya's and Mayweather's to fight their mandatory's because they know that they will vacate the titles immedately and they won't be able to collect a big sanctioning fees check.

SIMPLE 101 STUFF MAN. Maskaev tried to get out of the Peter fight but the WBC made him fight. Maskaev is a nobody. The WBC controls him, Floyd controls the WBC........big difference.
